In celebration of Year of Natural Scotland we are delighted to launch two new Nature cruises in partnership with the RSPB and the National Park.
RSPB Nature Cruise
Departs weekly on Tuesdays at 1130hrs from Tarbet Pier to Inversnaid RSPB Reserve. Join the Reserve Manager aboard our cruise to the eastern shore. At Inversnaid join a guided walk up to the vantage point on the Reserve and learning about the wildlife and eco systems while enjoying the breathtaking vistas. This will take around 1 hour, a moderate level of fitness is required, as it is fairly steep and has many steps up to the viewpoint. The walk is a circular route back to the Inversnaid Hotel, where you can have lunch prior to cruise returning to Tarbet at 1445hrs.
National Park Nature Cruise
Departs weekly on Wednesdays at 1000hrs from Luss Pier to Inchcailloch Island. Join National Park Ranger on board for cruise around the island jewels in the Loch Lomond crown, keeping eyes peeled for osprey, fallow deer and even wallabies, to Inchcailloch – a magical island steeped in history and a haven for wildlife. Disembark for time ashore and guided tour of the island.
